How does CanyonMD work with your practice:

The clinician starts the day by connecting to their scribe by logging into a HIPAA Compliant Telemedicine app.  Any device that connects to WiFi and has speakers and a microphone will work perfectly; Laptop, Tablet…probably what you are already using! The clinician and their Remote Scribe are in constant communication back and forth about the day’s events with the Remote Scribe live charting into the EMR/EHR.

In the hallway the clinician will call out the patient to be seen and the Remote Scribe will confirm and add any important patient notes. In the exam room the Remote Scribe is in “listen only mode” and is live charting into the EMR/EHR all the content from the Clinician-Patient conversation; HPI, ROS, etc.…  During the patient encounter, the Remote Scribe can use a “text message” feature to communicate with the Clinician if needed. This is often used to remind the Clinician about missed questions or data that is imperative to the chart. Back in the hallway after the patient encounter the Clinician will finish up by assigning any multitude of tasks to the Remote Scribe: ordering labs, ePharma modules, MRIs, clinic specific forms, the list is endless.The goal is after a quick revue the Clinician will be able to sign off on charts immediately!
